What’s In My Bag?

So whats in my bag?

Voigtlander Bessa R2 With Jupiter 8 50mm f2 attached
Can’t really comment on this camera yet as it’s fairly new to me! (only received it yesterday lol)

Zorki 4k
Although now i have bought the Voigtlander Bessa R2 and placed this old boy in semi-retirement.

It remains to be seen whether the Bessa R2 can out do this legend of the iron curtain!
This was my very first rangefinder…. this old camera is defiantly from Russia with love..I’ll never part with this little soviet wonder.

Read my article about this beauty here

Leningrad 4 light meter
Another old Soviet classic i use even though it was made in 1968 it’s still spot on to this day

Fuji Neopan 400 –
To be fair I do use illford HP5 also but at the minute I have a few rolls of this stuff 🙂

Acme Made Photo Messenger
This is a great bag for streetphotography  it’s discreet, light, water-resistant and it doesn’t scream photography bag.

It comes with many other features including a lens cap holder built-in and more little pockets than you can handle plus it’s only around £28.99 bargain!

  1. A very simple outfit that will do the job! It never ceases to amaze this pro photographer just how much equipment amateur photographers acquire and just how much debt they run themselves into. I’ve never bought a new camera or lens in my life. Amateurs spend thousands on ultra slow zooms that cover 18-600mm and the new body they bought in the summer has been outdated by a newer model at Christmas. I haven’t gone digital because I’ve invested heavily on film gear. I have my films developed then scanned onto CD. Even my Zorki 4K with 35mm f2.8 lens becomes a digital camera. The 50 mm f2 Jupiter is used on my Leica M3 and is a damn good lens when used with MONO films.
